This Affiliate Disclosure explains how TheTechLane may earn a commission from some product and service links. It applies whenever an affiliate relationship is present on https://www.thetechlane.in. Read it with our Advertising Policy and Privacy Policy.
1. What an affiliate link is
An affiliate link is a tracked URL. If you click it and later buy something from that merchant, TheTechLane may receive a commission. You do not pay more because you used our link. Using the link is optional; you can always go to the merchant directly.
2. Editorial independence
Affiliate partnerships do not buy a positive review or hide a criticism. We choose tools, hosts, courses, and services because they are useful to the developers who read this site. If a product is a poor fit, we say so even when an affiliate program exists.
3. Where links may appear
Affiliate links, when we use them, may appear in articles about:
- Developer tools, editors, and AI coding products
- Cloud, hosting, and infrastructure
- Learning platforms, books, and courses
- Hardware and productivity software
Not every recommendation is an affiliate relationship. Many outbound links are unpaid citations.
4. How we disclose
Where an article contains affiliate links, we add a short notice on that page (for example in a product block). Tracked clicks use our public go endpoint so the destination URL is not a raw tracking string in the article. This page is the site-wide disclosure.
5. Your decision
Before you buy, read the merchant’s own pricing, terms, and refund policy. We do not guarantee that a product will fit your project. Transactions happen on the merchant’s site and follow their terms, privacy, and support — not ours.
6. Advertising vs affiliates
Google AdSense display ads are separate from affiliate links. Ads are labeled as advertising. Display ads, sponsorships, and affiliate mentions are not mixed into one unlabeled block. Details: Advertising Policy.
